Up North Michigan
Bond Falls - Paulding, Michigan
You walk out of your cabin at the Running Bear Resort early in the morning. Pure Michigan silence greets you and the scent of northern pines is in the air. A five minute drive brings you to Bond Falls.

This photo was taken in early November, On the morning I toured the
falls there was no one else there except the biggest bald eagle I
have ever seen.
The trail to the falls is only a few hundred feet and is
well-groomed. Near the lower falls there are steep areas and steps
that can be slippery.
A short drive through the spectacular countryside will take you to Ontonagon, Lake Superior and the Porcupine Mountains.
